Alibaba releases 2.4T-parameter Qwen3.8-Max, open-sources next week

On August 3, Alibaba's Qwen team released the flagship model Qwen3.8-Max. Featuring a total of 2.4T parameters, this MoE architecture supports a 1 million token context and can process text, image, and video inputs. The company emphasized that it sets a new benchmark in autonomous coding and collaborative work, claiming it can independently evolve and develop from an empty folder for over 10 days without human intervention.
