Alibaba Launches Qwen3.8-Max, Open Weights for Two New Models Next Week

Alibaba's Qwen officially announced that Qwen3.8-Max is now live on Command Code Go, with open weights for both Qwen3.8-Max and Qwen3.8-27B scheduled for release next week. The new flagship model features a 2.4T parameter MoE architecture, priced at $2 for input and $6 for output per million tokens, with caching at $0.25. The 3.8 version is 20% cheaper than its predecessor, 3.7.
