Alibaba Launches 2.4T-Parameter Qwen3.8-Max, Open Weights Next Week

Alibaba’s Qwen team has released Qwen3.8-Max, a 2.4T-parameter MoE model tailored for coding, agents, and professional cowork tasks.
The model features a 1M-token context window and supports text, image, and video inputs. API pricing is set at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens. Open weights, including the Qwen3.8-27B version, are expected to be released next week.
