Alibaba has announced that it will release the open weights for Qwen3.8-Max next week, alongside Qwen3.8-27B.
Qwen3.8-Max is a 2.4T parameter model that sets a new bar for autonomous coding and cowork. It is capable of self-evolving development for over 10 days, automating the entire process from an empty folder to production. It also demonstrates strong long-horizon mastery, supporting closed-loop adaptive learning for 500+ turns of chip design optimization and 365 days of e-commerce strategy.
