AMD Officially Acquires Fei-Fei Li's World Labs for $8.2 Billion

AMD has officially signed a definitive agreement with World Labs, the spatial intelligence startup founded by Fei-Fei Li, and the company will be fully absorbed into AMD. According to Bloomberg reporter EdLudlow and multiple secondary reports, the deal is valued at approximately $8.2 billion, all in stock. Fei-Fei Li will become AMD's Executive Vice President and Chief Scientist, reporting directly to CEO Lisa Su; co-founders Justin Johnson and Ben Mildenhall and other core research staff will join as well.
