Claude Code builds a wakeboarding game in Babylon.js, no game engine needed

Inspired by SNOWFLOW, the author had Claude Code build a playable wakeboarding prototype (glidewater.vercel.app) without UE5 or Unity—just Babylon.js, WebGPU, and hand-written shaders:
- Water: one math function drives waves on both GPU (visuals) and CPU (board/boat physics), so nothing floats or sinks mismatched
- Physics: towboat V-wake, simulated rope chain, edge grip, and release-at-the-wake launch dynamics
- Feedback: spray walls on hard carves, board wake, splashes with rings on landings
- GPU-less testing: headless Chrome screenshots verify the rendered water matches the physics water
- Boat, rider, and board generated in code, with parallel helper agents
Author's takeaway: letting Claude Code write rendering + physics directly beats going through a traditional game engine workflow.
