Google Maps Complete Male Fruit Fly Brain Connectome
Google Research and HHMI Janelia completed the first full connectome of an adult male fruit fly—about 166,000 neurons and 10 million synapses from 100TB of data. The digital fly brain can already perform open-world navigation, with a zebrafish connectome next in line.
