Claude Code writes ~265k lines in 3 weeks: open-source serverless P2P messenger over Tor
SayYoung530 · reddit · 2026-11-09
A developer open-sourced YANGPA, a serverless P2P messenger built on Tor, with all code written by Claude Code.
- End-to-end encrypted with post-quantum hybrid cryptography; mostly Rust with a Tauri/React app
- The author wrote the spec and tested on real devices (two Windows PCs and a Galaxy phone); Claude Code produced all code, tests, CI and docs — 265k lines in about 3 weeks, including the post-quantum migration and a real-network Tor leak test
- Free on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android: GitHub
