OpenAI published an engineering writeup, "Scaling Git at OpenAI," detailing Pando — a Git-compatible backend the company built to support Codex-scale development.
It's a rare look at OpenAI's internal AI coding infrastructure: as huge numbers of agents read and write code concurrently, traditional Git architecture becomes a bottleneck, and Pando is designed to keep Git workable at that scale. Full post at openai.com/index/scaling-git-at-openai.
