A developer tired of sketchy 'YouTube to mp4' sites built a polished native Mac downloader based on yt-dlp: supports 1,200+ sites including Spotify and X, 4K-8K plus ProRes codecs, clipping, bulk downloads, drag-to-timeline, and an installer under 100MB. Free and will be open sourced; another dev praised its execution highly.
