In 2023, a Reddit user posted a concept video imagining Magic: The Gathering as a Game Boy game styled like Pokémon Trading Card Game. After Opus 5.5 dropped, a developer actually built it: early-era rules, 158 classic cards, and boosters to crack, playable online.
