OpenCV Live Demos a Robot 'Visual Cortex' with RealSense, Jetson, ROS 2 and VLMs

OpenCV Live! 232, "From Pixels to Physical AI," is a developer-focused session on building the "visual cortex" of modern robots: combining OpenCV with RealSense depth cameras, NVIDIA Jetson, ROS 2, and vision-language models so robots can perceive where objects are, how scenes change, and act on it.
Live demos built on AgenticROS cover:
- Spatial reasoning and autonomous navigation
- Human detection and interaction
- Natural-language robot control
All demo code is open source and runnable yourself. Aimed at vision developers curious about robotics, or roboticists adding agentic AI to their stack, with architectural patterns for turning camera frames into robot behavior. A free OpenCV University course was given away to a viewer.
