Conductor Cloud Shuts Down; Open-Source Orca Courts Its Users
jasonkneen · x · 2026-11-05
Conductor Cloud is shutting down. The open-source project Orca (115k GitHub stars, MIT licensed) immediately courted its users: forkable and self-hostable, with local dev plus remote machines in a private cloud, terminal agents and Chat UI, 50+ agent harnesses, bring-your-own subscriptions, cross-agent orchestration, and a mobile app for remote control. The poster voices skepticism about Orca's claimed "4k PRs".
