Zenod: open-source MCP memory lets Claude and Codex share one context
jordimr · reddit · 2026-11-05
Tired of re-explaining context to every AI tool, the author built Zenod, an open-source shared memory server over MCP.
In a 38-second demo, Claude saves a decision via MCP and a fresh Codex session answers from the same memory, citing the note it used. The memory is plain Markdown in your own GitHub repo, so it stays yours regardless of tooling.
Zenod is AGPL-licensed and self-hosts in a single Docker container—useful for keeping context continuous across Claude Code, Codex, and other agents.
