Rerun open-sources self-hosted AI coworkers running on your existing Claude/ChatGPT subscription
alex_verem · x · 2026-11-04
- What it is: Rerun (AGPL-3.0, 600+ stars) lets you "hire" a team of AI coworkers in plain words — inbox assistant, researcher, sales rep, writer — each with its own memory, skills and computer. A "Foreman" interviews you, plans the team and builds it.
- How it runs: self-hosted on your own server, reusing the Claude or ChatGPT subscription you already pay for (or an API key). Works with Gmail, Slack, Notion, GitHub and 200+ tools, any MCP server, and 2000+ apps via Composio.
- Safety: stops and asks you before sending, paying, or deleting anything.
- Pitch: "I'd rather own my AI coworkers than rent them."
