OpenAINewsroom · x · 2026-11-04
OpenAI announced its acquisition of developer tools company Pierre, aiming to turn Codex into a platform where teams build software together with AI, from first idea to shipped version.
Pierre's open-source developer tools already power parts of Codex today, and the two teams will build on that foundation for the agentic era.
