App Store Connect CLI 6.4 adds App Bundles support and FIDO2 security key login
rudrank · x · 2026-11-03
App Store Connect CLI (asc) shipped version 6.4.0 with notable updates:
- App Bundles: new asc web app-bundles commands to list, create, manage, and submit app bundles for review. Since App Bundles have no public API, these commands use the web session.
- Security key sign-in: asc web auth login --two-factor-method security-key signs in with a USB FIDO2 key on macOS; the PIN is supplied via ASCWEBSECURITYKEYPIN and never saved.
- Behavior change: with --two-factor-method auto, if Apple asks for a security key, sign-in now stops and asks you to retry with --two-factor-method security-key instead of requesting a device code.
- TestFlight & IAP: version creation, tester group management, subscriptions and offer pricing commands gained new flags such as --build-id, --review-note, and --plan-type.
