Microsoft's Work IQ connects business app context, unveiled at PPCC26 keynote

A widely praised PPCC26 keynote by Nirav Shah tackled the future workplace: enterprise context stays siloed in the app where work happens ("What happens in Vegas... kind of like your enterprise context"). An RFP-to-invoice demo showed how a clean 6-step process really spans Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and ERP with disconnected context. The fix is Work IQ for Business Apps with two parts: Business Understanding (AI reasoning over your business data and jargon) and Business Skills (reusable skills any agent can invoke), built in Copilot Studio and governed via Agent 365.
