basedjensen · x · 2026-10-13
xlr8harder argues that if someone ships a completely conventional computer worm in 2026 causing mild-to-moderate disruption — as many past worms did — but slaps some "magic AI sprinkles" on it, everyone will lose their minds and it will be "the dumbest thing in recent memory." He adds that anyone piling onto the resulting hysteria should be considered a bad actor or compromised.
