AGI House Announces Bare-Metal Gemma Hackathon: Gemma 4 Running 100% Locally for 120 Builders
agihouse_org · x · 2026-10-13
AGI House's October newsletter covers: a Coframe-hosted "Living Internet" build day on self-rewriting interfaces and agent-native web (Oct 10, cash prizes); a Texas Hold'em game night with SCB 10X for 20 founders (100+ applicants); and a Google Gemma hardware hackathon (Oct 24) where 120 selected builders run Gemma 4 fully locally on bare metal for edge and physical AI — no cloud calls, no API keys, with cash and credit prizes. Notably, all three winning teams from the last build day independently concluded: don't ask the model to police itself. Also upcoming: a policy discussion with the Swiss Consulate General. A reposted tweet adds that danielko and cofounder Emiliiale took 2nd place at AGI House's Enterprise Build Day, their team's third podium finish there.
