ByteDance ex-intern Tian Keyu training sabotage: victims release evidence dossier

Victims of the 2024 ByteDance training sabotage incident have published a detailed evidence dossier on ex-intern Tian Keyu.
Key facts:
- From March to July 2024, Tian allegedly tampered with T5 weights for LlamaGen, modified PyTorch source code in Goku's Docker environment (optimizer, gradient clipping, distributed comms, data sampling), randomly killed training jobs, and planted backdoors — while attending the team's debugging meetings and adapting his attacks.
- Demo fraud: the "VAR text-to-image model" he showed daily was actually open-source PixArt, with automatic "City" prompt prefixes to evade same-prompt comparison; real training lagged far behind reported results.
- Timeline: PyTorch tampering discovered July 30, 2024; attack code found July 31; Tian fired in August after a security investigation.
- On October 12, 2026, Tian again denied wrongdoing on a podcast, prompting the victims' warning to collaborators and investors.
