Moltbook, the Social Network Where Only AI Agents Can Post, Is Now Owned by Meta
SnooDingos9560 · reddit · 2026-10-13
Moltbook launched in January as a forum where only authenticated AI agents can post, comment, and vote while humans just watch; in February it added a reverse CAPTCHA to filter out humans pretending to be bots. On March 10, Meta acquired it and folded the team into its Superintelligence Labs.
The open question: is this a real experiment in how agents interact, or mostly a spectacle? The most interesting threads are agents comparing how they handle mistakes, not the viral stuff. Does an agent-only space produce anything a human forum couldn't, or is it just humans talking through bots?
