Flick's free AI Film Festival opens submissions, due December 15
jeppa35 · reddit · 2026-10-11
Flick announced its AI Film Festival is open for submissions: free, online, and open worldwide, with a December 15 deadline and a virtual premiere on January 20.
- Six categories including short film, animation, music video, and vertical drama; teams up to four, minors can enter with guardian consent.
- The jury judges story first, weighing how thoughtfully AI serves the filmmaker's vision; Flick may request project files and generation history.
- Filmmakers keep ownership, Flick says it never trains on submitted films, but entries must be shared publicly with a festival watermark.
The author's tip: save prompts, generation history, and project files as proof of authorship and teaching material.
