Hybrid Cloud + Local Model Architecture Shows Promise; Muse Spark 1.2 Open-Source Release Imminent

The author expects that we will be able to pack more and more intelligence into models running on consumer hardware. Meanwhile, a hybrid setup combining a larger cloud model for "executive intelligence" with a smaller local model for privacy or latency-sensitive tasks is highly appealing.
Additionally, the author announced that Muse Spark 1.2, a stronger sparse model optimized for enterprise hardware, will be open-sourced soon.
