Nscale to Acquire Anyscale for $1.65B to Build Vertically Integrated AI Cloud

Data center builder Nscale has announced plans to acquire AI infrastructure optimization startup Anyscale for a reported $1.65 billion.
Anyscale is the team behind Ray, an open-source framework for optimizing large-scale AI clusters. With this acquisition, Nscale aims to integrate power, compute, and software to build a fully vertically integrated AI cloud. In March, Nscale raised $2 billion in a funding round that included participation from Nvidia.
