Dev Builds Fully In-Browser Research Agent Using Liquid AI's 2.6B Model

Developer @nicodotdev has leveraged Liquid AI's newly released LFM2.5-2.6B model to build a fully in-browser research agent that runs entirely on-device.

The agent features a robust autonomous workflow: given a question, it creates a plan, calls tools, inspects the results, and loops until all steps are completed. It can ask clarifying questions, gather local context, and delegate research tasks to an isolated Wikipedia sub-agent while collecting sources. Ultimately, it synthesizes the gathered evidence into a cited answer and generates a downloadable research paper. This project highlights the potential of compact on-device models in orchestrating complex agentic workflows.
