Amazon's AGI SF Lab was reportedly shut down last week and the team was laid off.
A research intern said he had been there since June, working mainly on post-training and on-policy self-distillation. He described the lab as highly talent-dense and said he learned more in two months than expected. His internship runs until early September, and he is open to talking with people working on post-training.
