Grok×Cursor account merge buried under 3 settings pages, users hit duplication bugs
theo · x · 2026-11-07
A thread between theo and ethanniser reveals what merging Grok and Cursor accounts is actually like: the merge option is hidden three layers deep in the Grok dashboard settings.
After merging, ethanniser hit several bugs — his last name got duplicated on the new hybrid account ("Ethan Niser Niser"), and the Grok Bot was duplicated, with both the new and old bots showing in the list. Account data migration was still in progress at 5/14. Useful warning for anyone planning to merge the two accounts.
