OpenCode launches Browse: MCP server lets coding agents drive your real browser with your logins
dean_rie · x · 2026-11-07
OpenCode released Browse, an MCP server plus Chromium extension that lets coding agents use your real browser — your tabs, logins, and extensions, with no API keys to configure. Agents open and drive background tabs (grouped and collapsed out of the way) via Playwright, taking screenshots, recording the screen, and capturing network traffic as HAR. For logins, 2FA, or payments, the agent hands the tab back and resumes after you click Continue; a toolbar button also lets you lend an open tab to an agent. Works with Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and other Chromium browsers, supports MCP clients including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Zed, and offers allowlists to restrict session tabs.
