Dev open-sources three ComfyUI companion tools: metadata reader, lossless WebP converter, LLM-powered image sorter

Reddit user juanml82 shared three self-built, open-source ComfyUI companion tools:
- comfyui-metadatareader: read the workflow embedded in generated images without opening ComfyUI; supports PNG and WebP with drag-and-drop, copy, and JSON export.
- comfyui-png2webp: batch-convert PNGs to lossless WebP while preserving workflow metadata, reclaiming 30% disk space (general graphics tools would strip the workflows).
- comfyui-image-sorter: uses a local LLM endpoint (llama.cpp/LM Studio) to tag and sort thousands of generated images into subfolders by subject, action, and location. The key challenge: filtering tolerates partial tag matches, but folder grouping needs all tags to agree — over- or under-grouping breaks it. The five-step GUI pipeline covers 90% automatically. Thinking mode must be disabled (it breaks the pipeline); small fast instruct models suffice. Includes a vision-tagging branch.
All are Linux-first but cross-platform.
