duckdb-graphrag: GraphRAG with two tables and recursive CTEs, no graph DB
JeremyCMorgan · x · 2026-11-07
duckdb-graphrag ports the plain-SQL graph pattern (popularized by EdgeQuake v0.36 on PostgreSQL) to DuckDB. The whole knowledge graph lives in two ordinary tables; traversal is batched per-hop SQL or a single recursive CTE, supporting multi-hop retrieval and source attribution. A useful baseline before adding another database to your architecture.
