Binghao Huang's team announced FlexiTac's acceptance to the CoRL 2026 Demo Track and released FlexiTac-Gen.
After two years of requests to customize FlexiTac for different robots, the team used AI agents to build a tool that lets researchers design their own tactile sensors and export fabrication-ready files — a simple piece of tactile hardware aimed at accelerating robotics research.
