Homemade plastic 6-DoF robot arm: joint J1 90% done, all joints going direct-drive
_Stocko_ · x · 2026-11-07
Indie hardware builder Stocko is documenting a small plastic 6-DoF robot arm: on day 3, joint J1 is about 90% done, still needing screws and wire routing. From here on, the joints will be direct-driven.
A low-cost desktop robot arm build log; the choice to direct-drive all joints is a useful reference for DIY robotics hobbyists.
