Darwin Robotics Raises $3.6M Pre-Seed to Build Robot Technicians for Data Centers

Darwin Robotics announced a $3.6M pre-seed round led by Link Ventures, with Y Combinator, Liquid2, Rebel Fund, and co-founders of OpenAI, xAI, and Y Combinator participating.
The startup is building general-purpose robot technicians that assemble, commission, and maintain critical infrastructure, starting with AI data centers, where rapid buildout is driving demand for skilled physical work. Its robots learn complex tasks from human demonstrations rather than explicit programming, and the company takes a deployment-first approach working directly with data center operators and infrastructure manufacturers.
