Dutch government runs world's first AI compute verification test on state cluster

Amodo, hosted by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ran what it calls the world's first AI verification experiment on government compute.
- The test cluster in The Hague was required to serve only Qwen 2.5 7B for inference; Amodo acted as verifier using a recomputation-based system that checks token match and logit differences against the agreed specification.
- Screenshots show the verifier flagging a FAIL at 58% token match when the served model deviates, and a 100% match when compliant.
- Following the Dutch PM's UN General Assembly presentation of an AI Compute Verification research agenda, this is the first public government-side test, laying groundwork for end-to-end verification of international AI agreements.
