NVIDIA Releases Four Open-Weight Cosmos3-Nano World Models for Driving and Robot Simulation
liu_mingyu · x · 2026-11-06
NVIDIA added four open-weight checkpoints to its Cosmos 3 world model family, each post-trained from Cosmos 3 Nano with 16B trainable parameters under the OpenMDW1.1 license (commercial use permitted):
- Cosmos3-Nano-Transfer-Auto: generates multi-view driving data with varied weather, lighting, and time of day
- Cosmos3-Nano-Sim-Auto: streams synchronized camera + LiDAR observations for interactive driving-simulation research
- Cosmos3-Nano-Sim-Transfer: turns simulator controls plus a text prompt into photorealistic video
- Cosmos3-Nano-Sim-Bimanual: predicts video from robot or camera actions
Together they offer complementary ways to build environments for robotics and AV development, aligning visual appearance with 3D geometry. Checkpoints are downloadable on Hugging Face with a technical report and demos.
