Like Toddlers with Blocks: AI2's Simulated Robot Learns Spatial Reasoning Through Play
allen_ai · x · 2026-11-06
Allen AI explains ToyBlocks' design rationale: young children learn planning and spatial reasoning by playing with toy blocks—rebuilding a stack after it falls, turning one to find its letters. ToyBlocks uses the same setting: a simulated robot must reason about how blocks interact as it pushes, flips, and stacks them.
