Open-source tjcoder/cli: terminal agent platform where the model directs its own UI
tjcoder-labs · reddit · 2026-11-06
tjcoder-labs open-sourced tjcoder/cli (MIT, Go), a terminal-first agent platform built around model-directed UI: instead of a fixed transcript, the model uses a uicontrol surface to decide how code, plans, and tool traffic are presented. It ships 31 tools (file ops, execution, cron, background jobs, Chrome CDP bridge), supports BYOK via local Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible/Gemini endpoint, and pursues research goals including fine-tuning the Ergo model family on anonymized traces, agent memory with a live cognition pane, and Linux-ACL-style secure agent communication.
