Thinking Machines releases Inkling 2 Small, the second entry in its model series, built by a small team under tight deadlines with a focus on visual creation and coding. The team claims huge leaps in webdev, 3D, and game development over its predecessor; the model is live on Tinker now. The attached Design Arena by Intelligence Overall Frontend leaderboard shows Inkling 2 Small scoring 1376, ranking #4 behind only Claude Opus 5.5 (1388), GPT-6 Astra (1387), and Muse Wonder (1382), ahead of GPT-6.1 Sol, Kimi K3.1 Pro, and other big-lab models.
