SMFNet: a diffusion model predicting single-molecule chromatin accessibility from one DNA sequence
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-11-06
Researchers unveiled SMFNet, a seq2func diffusion model that predicts single-molecule chromatin accessibility — "one DNA sequence, many chromatin states."
Co-first authors Nate Diamant and Till led the work with Yuliya, Roze, Anshul Kundaje, and Arnaud Krebs. The model is applied to single-molecule footprinting (SMF), a fittingly generative use case, and an explainer video accompanies the release.
