anshulkundaje · x · 2026-11-06
Caltech's Van Valen Lab has moved its model publishing to Hugging Face, making all its AI models — vision and beyond — publicly available. Its HF org hosts 8 models including CellSAM, DeepCell-Type, torch-mesmer and torch-tracking, spanning cell segmentation and tissue analysis tasks. The move reflects some research labs reducing reliance on X in favor of open model hosting.
