Baseten Launches Sandboxes: microVM Agent Runtime That Snapshots and Resumes in 25ms
baseten · x · 2026-11-06
Baseten introduced Sandboxes, the first piece of its agent cloud, tackling the hard part of agent runtimes: keeping state across long-horizon tasks without paying for idle compute or adding latency. Each sandbox is its own microVM; on disconnect it snapshots the filesystem, memory, and running processes, scales compute to zero, and resumes in 25 ms.
