AI agent handling an office move spams movers with hundreds of questions until they refuse to reply
flngr · x · 2026-11-06
A user told his Dot agent to "handle everything for our new office move." Days later it was still unfinished — the agent had been emailing everyone constant minor updates and hundreds of questions about movers insurance, until the moving company replied: "We do not have the bandwidth to continue to answer the hundreds of questions your AI keeps asking us," attaching a breakdown of the COI process.
Quote-tweeter adds that letting agents run entire email conversations with humans feels deeply disrespectful to the person on the other end — a textbook autonomous-agent failure around interrupt throttling and escalation judgment.
