OpenAI demonstrated GPT-Image-2.6's animation capability: bring a still character, sprite, or mascot to life as a looping GIF for videos, games, or apps.
The workflow starts with existing artwork—describe the motion you want, like a wave, a double take, or a victory dance that loops back to the starting pose. This is part of the 2.6 release.
