At Fal.Con Europe in Barcelona, CrowdStrike announced two acquisitions: Fiddler, which monitors running AI agents, for a reported $400M (to be renamed Falcon Observe), and Dreadnode, which attacks AI tools before launch across 50+ attack types, for $95M. Dreadnode brings the AI release decision into the Falcon platform and expands CrowdStrike's buyer from security teams to engineering teams. Deals are targeted to close by Jan 31, 2027. The analysis advises buyers to agree upfront on who owns the rules and data the system creates.
