OpenAI merges ChatGPT's Chat and Work tabs into one interface

OpenAI is merging the Chat and Work tabs in the ChatGPT desktop app, rolling out first to select users. The unified view lets users go from idea to execution in one place — bringing files and plugins, having ChatGPT build websites, create presentations, or act on the web — while Codex remains a separate experience.
