Developer 101xanshu open-sourced Herald, a multi-channel notification platform designed to handle 4.3M notifications per day, built around the principle that an accepted event is never lost. It uses Kafka, Redis and PostgreSQL, with automatic retries, failure recovery, and delivery tracking across channels. MIT-licensed monorepo (pnpm + Turborepo).
