Hot take: the old-school monolithic web form was perfect for one-shotting agents
aarthir · x · 2026-11-03
Investor @aarthir argues the old-school web form was ahead of its time: one monolithic page, plain text fields, a single submit button — ideal for agents to one-shot. Then we broke it into multi-step AJAX-fied flows with a radio button per screen, which are terrible for Computer Use agents. Implication: the agent era may push web UX back toward simple forms.
