ChefNMR2 Correctly Elucidates All Nine Test Natural Products, from Taxol to Vancomycin
ZhongingAlong · x · 2026-11-03
The team evaluated ChefNMR2 on nine well-known natural products across diverse structural classes, including taxol, rapamycin, and vancomycin aglycone (80 heavy atoms).
ChefNMR2 correctly elucidated the planar structures of all nine molecules. Frontier LLMs also performed well, but their responses often suggested recognition from prior knowledge rather than derivation from the data — the key difference from this approach.
