Plunge launches with 25 invites: AI agents convert flat games into playable VR versions
Every-Sprinkles-9716 · reddit · 2026-11-02
A developer released Plunge: you pick a game you own, describe what you want (seated, hand tracking, comfort), and an AI agent (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, etc.) builds and installs a VR version into your copy, with one-click undo. It never touches anti-cheat games.
Working demos include PEAK with tracked hands, Dark Messiah bow combat, rough Battlefront II, and several FPV games. It supports multiplayer via join codes and a library for sharing VR mods. Windows-only, requires your own AI subscription; signed but may still trigger a Windows warning. Only the first 25 users get in to keep up with bugs, then a waitlist. The author is upfront that not every game translates well to VR.
